Washing instructions:

Washing can be done in the washing machine at low temperature and does not need ironing.

Machine wash at low temperature up to 30ºC, do not bleach, tumble dry at low temperature, iron at minimum temperature (up to 110ºC), do not steam, and do not dry clean.

Adib Domingos Jatene, born in Acre and graduated from FMUSP in 1953, was one of Brazil's greatest cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons, widely recognized for his innovation. He developed and built the first artificial heart-lung machine at Hospital das Clínicas, patented oxygenators and a heart valve, and revolutionized cardiac surgery with the "Jatene Operation" for correcting Transposition of the Great Arteries, a technique used globally. He led teams that performed more than 100,000 operations and served as director of Hospital do Coração (HCor) and Instituto do Coração (InCor) at FMUSP.



In addition to his brilliant medical and academic career, Jatene played a crucial role in Brazilian public health. He served as Secretary of Health for São Paulo and was Minister of Health in two administrations, being fundamental for the consolidation of the Unified Health System (SUS). Under his management, he implemented policies such as the Basic Attention Floor (PAB) and significantly boosted Family Health Programs. Adib Jatene is a symbol of technical innovation and social commitment, leaving an indelible legacy in medicine and the structure of healthcare in Brazil.
